National briefing Labour on social media ban as ACT and NZ First oppose it

National is briefing Labour MPs on its under-16 social media ban legislation, with further briefings set for Thursday. Minister Erica Stanford says she has not sought Labour's agreement. ACT's David Seymour called it "very unwise"; NZ First's Winston Peters called it a "seriously big mistake". National and Labour together hold a clear parliamentary majority.
