Fauci subpoenaed to testify before Senate committee chaired by Rand Paul on July 29

Dr. Anthony Fauci is scheduled to testify under subpoena before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on July 29, 2026. Chairman Rand Paul (R-Ky.) issued the subpoena after Fauci declined to appear voluntarily. Paul released 1,141 pages of Fauci's pandemic diary entries days before the hearing. The two have clashed for years over COVID-19 origins.
