Berlin Police Hunt Suspect in CSD Vehicle-Ramming That Killed One

Berlin police issued a wanted-person notice on July 26, 2026 for Abdul Ballout, a Berlin resident previously convicted for violent acts, over a vehicle-ramming on the Ahornsteig near Christopher Street Day festivities on July 25 that killed one and injured several. Police are examining possible indications of an accomplice. Tagesspiegel reported Ballout allegedly sympathizes with the Islamic State. The suspect remains at large.
