
UK Government Study: Safety Fears Are Changing What Nearly Half of British Journalists Report
A UK government-commissioned study by Alma Economics, reported July 26, surveyed 531 journalists and found nearly half say safety concerns affect their willingness to cover certain stories. About a third have changed how or what they report. Anti-immigration protests, the Trump administration, and trans issues caused the most concern. The IWMF reports parallel patterns in the US.
