India's Education Minister Resigns After Youth Protests — a First Under Modi

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned on July 25, 2026, after roughly a week of nationwide youth protests over an exam leak scandal that affected millions of students and led to more than a dozen suicides.
