
35 Killed, 30 Injured in Two-Bus Collision Near Palmyra, Syria
Two passenger buses — one civilian, one carrying Internal Security Forces personnel — collided on the Deir Ezzor–Damascus road near Palmyra, Syria, on July 25, 2026. Syria's Health Ministry confirmed at least 35 killed and 30 injured. The Interior Ministry described the vehicles as "a bus carrying a number of internal security forces personnel and a civilian bus."
