Alan Turing's Gay Short Story Published, Written Year After His 1952 Conviction

A six-page handwritten story by Alan Turing, titled "Pryce's Buoy," has been published with a scholarly transcription in The Review of English Studies. Written after his 1952 gross indecency conviction and chemical castration, the autofictional gay fragment reveals a "fun, cheeky" side of Turing absent from the public record. Cambridge professor Sarah Dillon transcribed the King's College manuscript.
