Cyclist Rohan Dennis faces September hearing on whether suspended sentence will be activated after guilty plea to driving while disqualified

Former Olympic cyclist Rohan Dennis pleaded guilty on July 17, 2026, in Adelaide Magistrates Court to driving while disqualified. He was caught driving with his two children as passengers on June 11, 2026, breaching a good behaviour bond from his May 2025 sentence connected to wife Melissa Hoskins's death. Judge Ian Press had warned any breach would trigger imprisonment. A September 1 District Court hearing will decide whether to activate Dennis's suspended 17-month jail term, originally granted so he could care for the children now in the car during the offence.
