Starmer Grants London Mayor Sadiq Khan a Peerage Days Before Standing Down

Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced Sadiq Khan's appointment to the House of Lords on 16 July 2026, part of a new batch of peer nominations arriving just days before Starmer leaves office.
