Over 800 Canadian Wildfires Push Detroit, Minneapolis, and Toronto to World's Worst Air Quality

Over 800 wildfires are burning across Canada as of July 14, with the vast majority out of control, per Canada's fire information system. Smoke from Ontario fires has degraded air quality across Thunder Bay and Toronto. IQAir ranked Detroit, Minneapolis, and Toronto as the world's three worst for air quality. Northwesterly winds are expected to push smoke into northern US states through the weekend.
