Blue Angels Flyover Sends Beach Gear Airborne at Pensacola Beach

A U.S. Navy Blue Angels jet flew low over Pensacola Beach, Florida, on July 16, 2026, generating downwash powerful enough to launch umbrellas, tents, and chairs across the crowded shoreline. No injuries have been confirmed. The Blue Angels are headquartered at nearby NAS Pensacola. Neither the Navy nor the squadron has issued a statement on the flyover.
