Daishin Securities Discloses Cyberattack Exposing 38,490 Customers' Personal Data

Daishin Securities disclosed on October 28, 2026 that a cyberattack exposed personal information of 38,490 customers. Exposed data includes names, email addresses and mobile phone numbers, but no account credentials or financial account numbers. Officials were still investigating the root cause as of that date. It is part of a wave of attacks on South Korea's financial industry.
