Spotify is rolling out QR code verification for Family Plan members, confirmed on its Q3 investor call. The plan manager's phone shows a code that changes every few seconds; members must scan it with their own phone within seven days. Missing the deadline bars members from Family and Duo plans for 12 months and moves them to a self-paid plan.
