UK to Speed Up Missile Deliveries to Ukraine Against Jet-Powered Drones

Prime Minister Andy Burnham announced accelerated deliveries of Lightweight Multirole Missiles to Ukraine ahead of hosting Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Downing Street on 14 October 2026. No 10 said the missiles counter faster, higher-flying Russian jet-powered drones striking Kyiv and beyond. Britain has committed £1.6 billion for over 5,000 missiles over four years.
