Widdecombe murder had terrorist connection, prosecutors say
Prosecutors told the Old Bailey the murder of Ann Widdecombe, 78, former Conservative minister and Reform UK spokeswoman, had a terrorist connection. They said the killing was politically motivated. They alleged defendant Joshua Kerry, 28, held an extreme left-wing mindset. They said his phone showed hostility to Reform. Defence counsel said he is likely to contest all charges.
