Ukrainian Oligarch Injured in Monaco Parcel Bomb Attack
Vadym Iermolaiev, founder of the Dnipro-based Alef conglomerate, was seriously injured along with his wife and child when a parcel bomb detonated at their Monaco apartment building on June 29, 2026. Monaco police launched a manhunt for the suspect, believed to have fled. The attack's motive remains unclear, though Iermolaiev was previously sanctioned by Kyiv for alleged business dealings in Russian-occupied Crimea.
