OpenAI Announces Release of AI-Produced Mathematical Results

OpenAI announced Oct. 6, 2026 it is releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model. The disclosure, titled "Sharing AI progress in mathematics," was listed as a Research post in OpenAI's news index. The company said it is working to responsibly release the model.
