iPhone 18 Pro Max delivers 45-hour playback in largest iPhone battery gain

Apple claims the iPhone 18 Pro Max delivers the largest battery-life increase ever on iPhone, with up to 45 hours of video playback from a 5,391 mAh cell. The figure, for eSIM-only models, is six hours more than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Both Pro models debuted via Apple's newsroom Sept. 9.
