Sen. Mike Lee Blocks Bipartisan Bill to Require Congressional Approval for Kennedy Center Demolition

Sen. Mike Lee blocked the Protecting Presidential Memorials Act in the Senate, co-written by Sens. Jeff Merkley and Lisa Murkowski, which would require congressional approval to demolish presidential memorials including the Kennedy Center. Merkley sought unanimous consent; Lee objected.
