
NZ First signals it will reverse health and safety overhaul after next election
Winston Peters said on 23 June NZ First will vote for the Government's omnibus health and safety legislation but intends to change it back if the party returns to government after the election. Peters called the requirement to support the Bill "very unfortunate" while signalling his party disagrees with the overhaul to WorkSafe's operational focus. Coalition agreements bind NZ First to vote with National on agreed legislation.
