2-year Treasury yield rose to 4.348% on Aug. 28 in biggest jump since March

The 2-year Treasury yield — the return on short-term U.S. government debt — rose 0.118 percentage point to 4.348% on Aug. 28, its biggest one-day rise since March, the Wall Street Journal reported. That equals 11.8 basis points, or hundredths of a point. I expect sharp front-end moves to keep pressure on borrowing costs.
