Meta says Muse was inspired by OpenClaw but built from scratch

Nat Friedman, head of product at Meta's Superintelligence Labs, said Sept. 22 that Muse was 'definitely heavily inspired as a product by OpenClaw' but 'built from scratch' to be safe, secure, easy to use and scaled to billions. He did not dispute matching workspace filenames and SOUL.md content, saying creator Peter Steinberger 'got those things exactly right'.
