Ocasio-Cortez Keeps Open 2028 Challenge to Schumer

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez refused to rule out a 2028 Democratic primary challenge to Senate leader Chuck Schumer. Asked by The New York Times, she declined to exclude a bid even if Democrats retake the majority, saying 'I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it' and 'I don’t think that my decisions would come down to deference.'
