UK's Aria selects 14 teams for £30m wild-species adaptation grants

Britain's Advanced Research and Invention Agency has selected 14 teams for an initial £30m over two years, announced 21 September 2026. The awards are the first tranche of its £54m accelerated adaptation programme, which aims to use biotechnology to speed wild species' evolution against warming and disease.
