11-year-old in serious condition after shot in face and neck in Sydney home

An 11-year-old boy is in serious condition in hospital after suffering gunshot wounds to his face and neck inside a home in Norwest, in Sydney's north-west. Emergency services responded at about 5pm on 21 September 2026. Paramedics treated him at the scene before transport. Police established a crime scene and inquiries continue.
