Labour leader Chris Hipkins says Police need to "front up" and "explain what is going on" about an "ongoing matter" involving candidate Rakesh Naidoo. Police Minister Mark Mitchell confirmed the matter exists but would not detail it, citing section 6(c) of the Official Information Act, the minister said. Police said they had no further comment.
