AU and CARICOM Unite on Slavery Reparations Demand

The African Union and CARICOM member states jointly demanded on June 19 that European colonial powers issue formal apologies, cancel debt, expand aid, and pay direct compensation for slavery. No European nation has ever paid slavery reparations.
