AfD projected to win Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with 38% of vote

AfD was projected to win Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's state election with 38% of the vote in the ZDF projection after polls closed at 18:00 local time. The CDU was projected to barely re-enter parliament. Other parties refuse to work with AfD, so it is unlikely to govern despite finishing first.
