Saudi Arabia Says It Intercepted Houthi Missile Aimed at Riyadh

Saudi Arabia said its air defenses intercepted a Houthi ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh on Sept. 19, 2026. The Saudi-led coalition said the missile was fired at dawn and destroyed. Officials reported no casualties or damage. The Houthis said they targeted "sensitive sites" in Riyadh. It was the first targeting of the capital since escalation opened a new front.
