Stranger deliberately placed 3-year-old in crocodile enclosure; attempted murder charges filed
A 30-year-old Norfolk man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after placing a 3-year-old boy into a crocodile enclosure at Huntingdon Zoo in Cambridgeshire on June 18. Police confirmed the child and suspect were strangers. The boy remained in critical but stable condition after a zoo worker jumped into the enclosure to rescue him. The attempted murder charge signals investigators concluded the act was deliberate rather than reckless.
