World Bank Group mobilized record $112 billion in private capital in FY2026

World Bank Group said it mobilized $112 billion in private capital in the year ended June 2026, up from $69 billion a year earlier, Reuters reported. Private capital mobilization means using public development money to pull in private investment. More private money can stretch aid budgets further for developing countries.
