Apple to offer alternative EU tracking prompt in iOS 27.2

Apple will let EU-distributed apps use an alternative App Tracking Transparency prompt from iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. The full-page sheet drops "track" from copy, offers "Allow" and "Reject" buttons, and can include a developer link explaining data use. The change follows agreements with European competition authorities after a German-led antitrust probe.
