Bank of Japan widely expected to raise rate to 1.25% Friday

The Bank of Japan is widely expected to raise its policy rate to 1.25% from 1% at its meeting ending Friday, the Wall Street Journal reported Sept. 15. The paper called it the fastest hike of the cycle. That is 25 basis points, or 0.25 point. I see the quickening pace as the signal for savers and borrowers.
