Trump threatens EU with tariffs over Canada associate-member offer

President Donald Trump threatened the EU with "very serious tariffs or stop trading with Europe" after Commission President Ursula von der Leyen proposed Canada as the EU's first associate member. Trump called the proposal "laughable" and a "hostile act", but said "If it's a good intention, that's fine."
