UK Withholds EU Reset Summit Date Over Industrial Accelerator Act

UK sources warned on 16 Sept. 2026 that EU Made in Europe laws could derail a UK-EU reset summit. London will not fix a date until the Industrial Accelerator Act is on the agenda, leaving a meeting discussed for 6 November at risk of slipping to late November or beyond. The Act would favour EU suppliers in cars and defence.
