1894 Magazine Returned to New Hampshire Library After 130 Years

84-year-old John Hanson returned the September 1894 edition of The Century Illustrated Monthly Magazine to Concord Public Library in New Hampshire, more than 130 years after checkout. The copy bears a bookplate saying it "may be kept for one week." The Century, published 1881-1930, once serialized Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn.
