Rumble closes $650M Northern Data deal, acquiring 22,000 H-series GPUs and 250 MW of power

Rumble has acquired Northern Data AG, a German HPC operator, closing on 22,000 Nvidia H100 and H200 GPUs distributed across nine data centers and up to 250 megawatts of power capacity. The move transforms Rumble from a video platform into vertically integrated AI infrastructure provider. Whether internal video workloads—recommendation, moderation, search—can justify the capex or external cloud revenue emerges matters most. Integration risk across European data centers, power contracts, and staffing spans four to six quarters ahead.
