Rumble closes $650M Northern Data deal, acquiring 22,000 H-series GPUs and 250 MW of power

Rumble has acquired Northern Data AG, a German HPC operator, closing on 22,000 Nvidia H100 and H200 GPUs distributed across nine data centers and up to 250 megawatts of power capacity. The move transforms Rumble from a video platform into vertically integrated AI infrastructure provider. Whether internal video workloads—recommendation, moderation, search—can justify the capex or external cloud revenue emerges matters most.
