Bank of America raised its U.S. semiconductor growth outlook to 18% a year, forecasting a $3.2 trillion total addressable market — the total sales opportunity — by 2030, published Sept. 15, 2026. I'm skeptical of long-range TAMs; they describe possible demand, not guaranteed profits.
