
Carney pitches Canada as 'safe harbour' to investors holding C$120 trillion
Prime Minister Mark Carney pitched Canada as a 'safe harbour' at the Canada Investment Summit in Toronto on September 14-15. More than 100 global investors attended, holding over C$120 trillion in assets. Carney said Canada is 'perfectly situated to build in the new global economic order' and aims to make it the G7's most attractive place to invest.
