Kevin Warsh Takes Fed Chair After Hawkish Track Record on Rate Policy

Kevin Warsh was sworn in as Federal Reserve chairman on May 22, 2026. He previously served as a Fed governor from 2006 to 2011, appointed at 35 as the youngest ever to the Board.
