Zhipu AI releases GLM-5.2, an MIT-licensed open-weight coding model with 1M token context

Zhipu AI released GLM-5.2 on June 16, distributed under MIT license with weights on HuggingFace and ModelScope. The model supports a 1-million-token context window and dual reasoning-effort modes (high and max), allowing developers to tune compute costs per pipeline step. Available to all GLM Coding Plan tiers, GLM-5.2 eliminates per-token API pricing friction that typically constrains high-volume developer tooling workflows.
