Advocates say Jobseeker test risks trapping teens in abusive homes

Youth advocates say a new parental assistance test for Jobseeker Support risks trapping 18- and 19-year-olds in violent homes from November. According to RNZ, single teens will need to prove parents cannot or will not support them. MSD said it can offer specific services if told of abuse.
