Russian drone hits evacuated Kyiv-Warsaw train 2km from Polish border

A Russian drone struck the detached, evacuated engine carriage of a Kyiv-to-Warsaw passenger train 2 kilometres from the Polish border, with no injuries on board. The strike was part of a barrage of more than 450 drones and missiles across Ukraine. Russia said it targeted infrastructure moving military cargo from Europe. Proximity to NATO territory raises questions over spillover risks.
