Farage pledges to ban foreign nationals from social housing and enforce deportation
Nigel Farage announced on 14 June that Reform UK would expel foreign nationals from social housing. Current foreign-national tenants would face three months to secure private accommodation or deportation. The policy applies to existing tenants, not merely new applicants, and would require primary legislation. Housing is reserved to Westminster in England but devolved in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
