GM and ChargePoint to Deploy 500 Ultra-Fast EV Chargers by End of 2025

General Motors and ChargePoint announced a partnership to install 500 DC fast chargers (150 kW+) at public sites, with openings targeted before December 2025. The chargers will be open-access, compatible with any CCS or NACS vehicle. The deployment leverages GM's real-estate and customer relationships alongside ChargePoint's network operations expertise—an anchor-tenant model that mirrors how broadband and cellular infrastructure scaled historically.
