Bishop denies leadership calls, but NZ Herald reports MPs fielded "several"

Chris Bishop said he had not spoken to any colleague about Christopher Luxon's leadership and dismissed reports of caucus phone calls. But the NZ Herald reported one National MP confirmed fielding "several" calls about a potential leadership change. Bishop said he talks to caucus members about "a whole range of different things." His denial does not address whether other MPs were taking calls.
