US State Department Has Revoked Over 175,000 Visas Under Trump, Nearly Double Since January
The State Department announced on August 10, 2026 it has revoked more than 175,000 visas under President Trump — up from roughly 100,000 in January 2026 and about 80,000 in November 2025. Most revocations cited criminal activity, fraud, and national security threats. Secretary Rubio separately determined foreign nationals deportable on foreign policy grounds, folding counterintelligence into visa enforcement.
